Kindergarteners learned about the artist Georgia O'Keeffe by watching an instructional video on Brain Pop Jr. They then looked at images of flowers and drew from one that the liked. They were instructed to magnify their drawing. We then used watercolor to add color and students outlined their flowers with black glue.

These pictures are vibrant. The black glue is great. When I try using it with a class I am continuously unblocking the pottle nossels. Do you have a good way of using black glue?
ReplyDeleteI was having that problem too. I make my own. I sometimes have problems with the bottle clogging when I use the combination of black tempera paint and glue. I have found the most success with using glue and black india ink. The color dries beautifully and I'm sure you could try it in a number of different colors!
